The second annual Mac and Cheese Festival is returning to Toronto June 3, 4 and 5 2016, taking over Ontario Place West Island, after a five year closure. This year, the festival will feature over 75 food, drink and artisanal vendors; 40 of which include Toronto’s top chefs, savvy cooks and food entrepreneurs, competing to make the city’s best mac and cheese. Free to the public, the Mac and Cheese Festival is offering attendees a bigger and better event. “It is all about top quality food and beverage supporting local businesses, ensuring Torontonians and visitors are given an amazing event experience and taste some of the best mac and cheese the city has ever tasted,” said Daniel Janetos, Director, Strategic Partnerships, Mac and Cheese Festival. “Last years festival set out to attract 20,000 foodies but we ended up attracting over 52,000. We’re returning bigger and better, taking over 600,000 square feet of event space, expecting over 65,000 attendees from across the Greater Toronto Area.
